Such deep wisdom Aarati S Neemkar shared with us during the 4th Global Women’s Peace Network (GWPN) Workshop for emerging leaders. Aarati explained that on average, we have 70,000 thoughts per day and only 1% of them are positive thoughts, with 80% being mundane thoughts. This reality was quite shocking for us, realising that within our minds there is the ‘sage’ and the ‘saboteur’. Allowing the saboteur to control our thoughts means that we are judging ourselves, others, events, and circumstances that harms relationships and result in unhappiness. Aarati asked each one of us which ‘sage’ and ‘saboteur’ characteristics relate to us. Strongly recommend all business owners having a session with Aarti. A business coach can really make you think and focus on the areas that we usually don’t pay much attention to.
